When I checked on Capiz email, a lot of people from different part of the world is commenting and leaving their messages. One from Capiz who contributed a very nice picture of Baybay, Roxas City, Capiz. It seems that this person is a “lomography” expert or a professional art photographer. , but I will still inform you about this because a lot of search engine optimizers from Capiz is participating to the contest. When I check on the Cebu Seo Contest entries on Google search, I have seen known personalities from Roxas City, Capiz who are currently on page one. Some of them were Renan, Rachelle and the PMT champ and A.G. Seo Contest runner-up with a codename “bleuken” is currently leading. I am really proud with this people and they are giving honor to their province. Hope you will not stop from the optimization activities so that you will achieve your goal of becoming one of the mini-SEO champion in the Philippines. Good luck to all of you guys! Right now, regarding the Chess Tournament by CCA, all system go for this chess competition. The game will start at 1:00 P/M. to 6:00 in the evening at Gaisano City Boulevard and it will be participated by chess players from all over the province. My luck is young chess players will be playing Shell Chess Tournament the same date which is August 31, so I will have a big chance to win because strong young players will be slash out of the line-up of contestants. I will practice and try to win this Sunday.
Another local open chess tournament will be spearheaded by Capiz Chess Association, Inc.. It is part of their regular chess tournament for the organization to improve the skills of their members in the field of chess. I am participating it that’s why my time is divided right now with practicing and reviewing some chess tactics and since I am also participating a certain SEO contest called Cebu Seo Contest, this two activities will definitely eat my time for this week. I will update you with the result of this tournament next week.

Cebu SEO Contest was launched by Lhurey, a Filipino blogger from Cebu that owns the PHBlogger dot net last June 2008. Some students from Capiz are currently participating to the said contest and they actually excel on the 2nd day only. You may wonder what is SEO. SEO or search engine optimization is the term used to describe to apply something to your website to make it rank on search engines and be very visible thus promoting it this way. A lot of practitioners of this SEO are residing here in Capiz and even excel to this kind of field. Now, SEO contests are held to make an easy promotion of a certain website. It is because usually the host requests for a link back to their websites which is good for visibility in search engines.
With regards to the Cebu Seo Contest, the prize to be awarded is not that big but it doesn’t matter to the Capiz participants. All that matters to them is the spirit of participating and learning SEO while enjoying and feeling the competitiveness. I actually join the said contest but I know the possibility of winning it is very low because I joined late. Aside from that my SEO skills can’t be said that it is good enough to grab this kind of Cebu Seo Contest. It doesn’t mean that I win a certain contest previously, I can win this already. That’s not true because I know that there are many of us who can grab this victory.
