Aside from the Busby SEO Test International competition that some of Capiznons are participating in, another native of Capiz managed to become one of the Semi-Finalist of one of the most prestige and popular web award giving bodies in the country - the Philippine Web Awards. The said website entitled, Filipino Programmer / Blogger / SE Optimizer which web address is http://www.bleuken.com/, managed to qualify in the Philippine Web Awards semi-finals under the Blog Category. This website is owned and maintained by Felixberto Baguyo, Jr., a faculty member of Hercor College teaching programming subjects.

A lot of great SEO talents in Capiz righ now. They are dominating some of the keywords on search engines and now this talent will be shown through the biggest SEO competition in the world called Busby SEO Test contest. Actually I am one of the people who registered for the said event. I understand that I could not win this alone because I will be competing with team of expert contenders from different part of the world. I want to unite every SEO specialists and practitioners in Capiz but I guess it is impossible right now for so many reasons. I might organize a team but a team of beginners and students. That’s the strongest team that I could get right now.
This time I don’t have the Capiz SEO team in place for the said competition because I am still busy with the semestral break tasks. I will update you guys about this. I will try to contact some of my SEO friends and discuss this Busby SEO Test stuff 
Olotayan Island can be found in Roxas City, Capiz Philippines. It is a paradise that is not yet discovered by a lot of people. Honestly I was not able to go here even I live in Capiz because only this year Olotayan was promoted through out the province and developed to become one of the tourist spot in the Philippines. The said paradise in Capiz is said to be like Boracay Island because of natural white sand that surrounds the island. The combination of the black sand and white sand in its beaches making it unique and very eye catching. If you’re a nature lover and love a peaceful place to have your vacation, Olotayan Island is for you. The place is not yet populated and does not have any night life yet which is very suited to people who wants to sleep in a very peaceful night.

Actually my officemates are planning to go here in these really nice place but I don’t know if I could stay here for one night of not being online or without electricity. Well, this is really a real nature tripping adventure if in case we pursue the plans.

CAPRISA or The Capiz Private Schools Association Sports and Cultural competition will start this week beginning on September 22 to 26 2008. Participating schools from different schools and campuses in Capiz will be competing for the sports and cultural events. Some of the participating schools in college level are Colegio Dela Purisima, Filamer Christian College, Hercor College, Saint Anthony College and Saint John College. In Highschool and elementary participatings schools, exptected participants from different municipalities of Capiz are OLGA, OLFA, OLSI, OLSC and other private school in Capiz.
What I am waiting for the said event is the battle between rival schools in basketball, the Purisima Saints versus Hercor Jaguars. These two basketball teams played championship last year and the Saints got the crown of glory. This is the much awaited basketball event of the year in Roxas City, Capiz. Capiz Gymn will be definitely poured with lot of audiences waiting for the come back of two giants in basketball in Capiz. These two competing teams battle are like the Lasalle Green Archers versus Ateneo Eagles fight.
Who will this events? I will update you with this later guys and see if I could gather some pictures that I could share to you.
I inititiated a mini-search engine optimization challenge last September 9. This is called “captivating Capiz” SEO contest. For those who are not technically knowledgable about SEO, I will explain it on the language you understand. SEO or search engine optimization is a technique on the net in making your website rank on the page results of search engines like Google and Yahoo on a certain keyword or key phrase. It is widely popular today. Now, I conducted a SEO competition and the key phrase the the participants should make sure to be visible on Google.com is the key phrase “captivating Capiz”. Through this kind of simple SEO competition, Capiz will be known all over the Philippines and in the world. I hope this little thing that I have done for the province help improves its tourism industry and at the same attract different investors to make the province become more progressive.
